Brief synopsis: How almost insurmountable the ego can be, how it makes demands in its world and expects ‘us’ and ‘them’ to toe the line in its world and system of thought – truly we are the puppets with only one seemingly dominant master, forgetting our ancient past we serve our ego like a god. Not only that, we populate our world with further God surrogates.
We all have ego, this sculpture represents an attempt of one individual, a being who tries to strip away the egoic elements of its thought system, leaving only the love, kindness, pure intentions, and holy desires that were already present. “We need to forget and remember.”
The society and the context in which we live, piles on the witnesses to guilt, blame, anger, retaliation, resentment, unforgiveness, victim-hood as we live our life, UN-egoed starts ascending a steep staircase, removing these layers and self designated masks of distortions and perceptions to culminate in true enlightenment, knowledge, an awareness of the Self without the ego’s layers of insanity that form the foundation of what we call sanity and intellectualism in our world today.
There are few who have come close or achieved the natural UN-egoed state of being, they are no longer here, and never will be as they have no desire to buy into the cheap thrills the ego dishes up or buy into the bejeweled jail it offers.
