Brief synopsis:
That glass ceiling we have the right to apparently smash to pieces, is not the challenge. The pure fact that we think that THAT is the challenge, IS the challenge. The challenge is the shadow within, that part we dissociate from, “two systems of belief which cannot coexist are both maintained.” Ever been pulled in 2 directions? “Their joining thus becomes the source of fear, for if they meet, acceptance must be withdrawn from one of them.” We hold so tightly to our perceptions of ourselves that the truth of who we are sits quietly holding our heart. “You cannot have both, for each denies the other.” So we allow the shadow figure to carry prominence for in believe of illusion truth cannot enter and “Truth does not struggle against ignorance, and love does not attack fear. What needs no protection does not defend itself.”
And so we become one shadow following another, casting longer shadows of dissociation believing the illusion of darkness that exists and inviting ancient shadows back, over and over again. Lesson learnt? Maybe not. Know who you are? Maybe not.
Let the light of truth shine out the darkness of shadows.
