Ernest Skhosana, a 27 year old self-taught artist was born and bred in the Highveld of Mpumalanga, in Emalahleni, South Africa. As a self-motivated artist he “aims to contribute positively to the industry, and take excellence as a virtue through motivation, flexibility and confidence.”

It all started with a pencil sketch at age 7, and despite many obstacles, he has improved on his skills and became the artist he envisioned to be. He likes being diverse, and therefore extended his talents to drawing, painting, sewing, woodwork and tattooing. His exquisite artworks showcase the very talented young Ernest’s unique painting technique. It takes him over a month to complete an artwork. Ernest started off painting on t-shirt material, old curtains, and scraps that he could gather.
